Toffee Touch from The Gel Collection is a soft and warm shade with a hint of caramel, combining earthiness with a sense of effortless elegance.

Builder Gel is a UV-curing gel product, perfect for strengthening the natural nail or creating extensions with either classic tips or templates. Its fluid consistency ensures easy and hassle-free application that self-levelling to a smooth and even surface. One of the biggest advantages of Builder Gel is its versatility: it is available in a range of beautiful colours that can be used on their own or as a strengthening layer under any Gel Polish colour. What's more, there's no need to remove it every time you want to refresh your nails – regular refills approximately every three weeks ensure they remain well-maintained and elegant.

Like all other products from The Gel Collection, our Builder Gel is developed without 21 harmful and unwanted chemicals.

It contains added minerals that improve both durability and strength and is formulated to be easily soluble for gentle removal that protects the natural nail. Our products are, of course, vegan, palm oil-free and carefully developed and produced in Europe.

To achieve both long-lasting results and a safe experience with the product, it is important that it cures properly. Our products have been thoroughly tested with our own UV lamps at the following curing times:
Home lamp: 60 sec
Smart lamp: 90 sec
If you use a lamp from another brand, we cannot guarantee the same correct curing – and this may affect both durability and safety. You can read more about why here.

How to strengthen or extend with Builder Gel – step by step

Builder Gel can both strengthen your natural nail and build length – the routine is the same.

1. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
2. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
3. Reinforce – or extend – with Builder Gel – prime the brush in the gel first. Brush a very thin slip layer over the whole nail (without curing). Place a small bead in the centre of the nail, push it towards the cuticle and out to the sides, and pull the rest evenly towards the tip – seal the free edge. Turn the nail upside down so the gel forms a natural apex. Flash-cure 10 sec. per nail, and fully cure the whole hand at the end. Want length? Build the extension on forms or tips first, then build the shape the same way. Extension on forms → on tips →This product is used in step 3
4. File the shape (if desired) – remove the sticky layer with a wipe and cleaner, file the nail, and wipe it free of dust.
5. Gel Polish colour (optional) – two thin coats on top of the reinforcement, cure between coats.
6. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure.
7. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
