The Dual LED Flash SMART UV/LED lamp from The Gel Collection has been developed with a brand new diode technology that increases light efficiency by 48%. Despite its small size with only 10 diodes, this SMART lamp can effectively cure all types of gel products. At the same time, its practical size makes it ideal for taking with you anywhere! No more searching for a power outlet - the SMART lamp also works with batteries, so you can do your nails anywhere.

What makes the SMART UV/LED lamp unique?

• The light efficiency is 48% more efficient per LED bulb, which means that the lamp can cure all our gel products, even though it only has 10 LED bulbs in total.
  
  
• Small and compact design makes it easy to take with you everywhere. When folded, the lamp measures only 14x7x1.5 cm.
  
  
• Option to use either a power plug or 3 AAA batteries. When using the adapter, no batteries are required. The external output (adapter) is prioritised over the battery, which means that when the adapter is connected to a power outlet, the lamp uses the external power and disconnects the internal power source.

• Durable diodes that are extremely robust, preventing damage during transport.
  

• Buttons on the side and light programme on top of the lamp make it easy for the home user to see and select the right light programme.
  
  
• Dual wavelength of 365 & 405 nm, using the latest UV technology. This ensures even and effective curing every time.
  

Light programmes

• 10 sec Flash Cure: The Flash Cure mode delivers 5 flashes of light in 10 seconds. This can be used for surface curing to prevent products from running, or to reduce the exothermic reaction (burning sensation) of gel products. Please note that 90 sec standard curing is required afterwards to ensure full curing.
  
  
• 90 sec timer: 90 seconds of full light intensity. All our products that normally require 60 seconds of curing should be cured for 90 seconds in this SMART lamp to ensure full curing.

Hand placement

The open and small design of the SMART lamp requires precise placement of the hand in the light chamber.

• Cure your index finger, middle finger and ring finger together.
• Cure your little finger separately in the centre.

How the lamp is used in your routine – step by step

This routine is a classic Gel Polish manicure – the lamp cures every single layer.

1. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
2. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
3. Gel Polish colour – two thin coats, cure in the lamp between coats. Use flash cure to hold the shape while building reinforcements.
4. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure in the lamp.The lamp is used in steps 2, 3 and 4 – curing times are on each product
5. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
