To achieve both long-lasting durability and a safe experience with the product, it is important that it cures correctly. Our products have been thoroughly tested with our own UV lamps at the following curing times:
Home lamp: 60 seconds
Smart lamp: 90 seconds
If you use a lamp from another brand, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the same correct curing – and this can affect both durability and safety. You can read more about why here.

Curing time in the UV lamp: 60 seconds per coat
Size: 10ml

Cat Eye step-by-step:

1. Apply the first coat of Cat Eye Gel Polish (or another Gel Polish as a base colour) and cure in the UV/LED lamp.
2. Apply a second coat of Cat Eye Gel Polish and use the accompanying Cat Eye Magnet to create your desired pattern. Once you are happy with the pattern, cure quickly in the UV/LED lamp to set the design.
3. Finish with Top Coat No Wipe and cure in the UV/LED lamp.

How to apply Gel Polish – step by step

This routine is a classic Gel Polish manicure from start to finish – from prep to cuticle oil.

1. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
2. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
3. First coat of Gel Polish – thin layer: place a small bead in the centre of the nail, push it towards the cuticle, pull it down and out to the sides, seal the tip and cure. If it doesn't cover completely, that's perfectly normal.This product is used in steps 3 and 4
4. Second coat of Gel Polish – the same way as the first, and cure.
5. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure.
6. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
