About our Builder Gel

Builder Gel is a building gel that cures under UV/LED light and gives your nails extra strength, structure and shape. It can be used to reinforce your natural nails or to build the length and shape you dream of. Wear it alone for a natural, well-groomed look in the beautiful Builder Gel shades, or as a strong foundation beneath a Gel Polish colour.

Our innovative 21FREE+ Builder Gel formula from The Gel Collection is developed to create a strong, stable build that supports and protects your nails in everyday life. That makes it especially well suited to nails that break easily, or to you who want a more substantial reinforcement, a more beautiful shape or extra length.

The full, creamy consistency stays where you place it without running into the cuticle. At the same time, the gel levels out beautifully across the nail and helps smooth small irregularities as you work. That gives you more calm, control and time to build the shape you want before curing.

Once cured, Builder Gel forms a strong, stable structure that helps distribute everyday pressure and strain across the nail. You get a solid reinforcement that can both protect the natural nail and support an extension.

How to strengthen or extend with Builder Gel – step by step

Builder Gel can both strengthen your natural nail and build length – the routine is the same.

1. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
2. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
3. Reinforce – or extend – with Builder Gel – prime the brush in the gel first. Brush a very thin slip layer over the whole nail (without curing). Place a small bead in the centre of the nail, push it towards the cuticle and out to the sides, and pull the rest evenly towards the tip – seal the free edge. Turn the nail upside down so the gel forms a natural apex. Flash-cure 10 sec. per nail, and fully cure the whole hand at the end. Want length? Build the extension on forms or tips first, then build the shape the same way. Extension on forms → on tips →This product is used in step 3
4. File the shape (if desired) – remove the sticky layer with a wipe and cleaner, file the nail, and wipe it free of dust.
5. Gel Polish colour (optional) – two thin coats on top of the reinforcement, cure between coats.
6. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure.
7. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
