Polygel is ideal for strengthening the natural nail or creating extensions with either classic tips or a template. Its unique, firm consistency, reminiscent of soft modeling clay, prevents the gel from flowing during the build.

How to strengthen or extend with PolyGel – step by step

PolyGel can both strengthen your natural nail and build length – the routine is the same.

This pack is used in steps 1 and 4

1. Prepare your tools – brush, a small dish of cleaner and a lint-free wipe. Keep the brush lightly dampened with cleaner throughout so the gel doesn't stick.
2. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
3. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
4. Reinforce – or extend – with PolyGel – pick up a small bead with the spatula and place it close to the cuticle. Pat it towards the cuticle, out to the sides and towards the tip – seal the free edge. Flash-cure 10 sec. per nail, and fully cure the whole hand at the end. Want length? Build the extension on forms or tips first, then build the shape the same way. Extension on forms → on tips →
5. File the shape (if desired) – remove the sticky layer with a wipe and cleaner, file the nail, and wipe it free of dust.
6. Gel Polish colour (optional) – two thin coats on top of the reinforcement, cure between coats.
7. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure.
8. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
