How to use bits – step by step

These steps are prep and maintenance with an electric file – this is where your bits do the work.

1. File length and shape – manually or with a sanding band.
2. Remove cuticles – cuticle bit: low speed, light pressure, keep the file moving.Bits are used in steps 2, 3 and 6 – pick the bit for the job
3. Roughen the surface – fine/ceramic bit or buffer, light hand. Do not file off the nail layers.
4. Clean with cleaner – until the nail is matt and dry.
5. Apply primer – air-dries in 60 sec.
6. Removal and refill – reduce old product with a coarse bit (carbide/volcano) before soaking off or building up again.
