Sanding bands, also known as sanding bands, are small cylindrical sandpaper rolls that are mounted on a mandrel bit in your electric nail file. They are indispensable when doing your own nails at home and are primarily used to file, shape, or remove gel products. Sanding bands come in different grits, indicating how fine or coarse the filing will be. Thanks to the ultra-high grain quality of these sanding bands, they can be reused multiple times. They are also easy and quick to change.

How to use Sanding Bands – step by step

Sanding bands are the sandpaper rolls for your electric file – used to prep the natural nail, file shape and remove product. They require a mandrel bit.

Mount – press the sanding band onto your mandrel bit in the electric nail file.
Choose the grit – a low grit number is coarse (e.g. removing and shaping hard products like Builder Gel and PolyGel), a high grit number gives finer filing.
File – work with light pressure and keep the file moving. The bands do not shed grit and generate minimal heat.
Reuse and replace – bands can be reused several times; replace when the surface is worn.
