The 100/180 file is the most used file across all types of products. Therefore, it is the best all-around file that everyone always needs.

The side with grit 100 (coarse) is good for, for example, shaping hard products such as Builder Gel and AcrylicGel. The side with grit 180 (medium coarseness) is good for fine-tuning the shape of hard products like Builder Gel and AcrylicGel or removing soft products such as Gel Polish.

The nail files from The Gel Collection™ are made of the best materials to ensure long durability and good filing quality. They are comfortable to hold, have optimal flexibility, and file with high precision.

The files are of course washable and withstand all forms of disinfection - even under running water, they neither lose the grains nor start to wrinkle.

How to use the file and buffer – step by step

These steps are prep – preparing the natural nail – where the file and buffer do the work.

1. File length and shape – with a 220/240-grit file.The file is used in steps 1 and 3
2. Remove cuticles – push back with a cuticle pusher, trim excess cuticle if needed.
3. Roughen the surface – buff lightly with a 100-grit buffer, well into the sides and around the cuticle. Do not file off the nail layers.
4. Clean with cleaner – with a lint-free wipe, until the nail is matt and dry.
5. Apply primer – a thin layer, air-dries in 60 sec. Do not touch the nail afterwards.
6. Continue with your product – base coat, Gel Polish or reinforcement.
