UV Gloves

These UV gloves are designed in a beautiful soft pink color with holes for the fingertips. The UV gloves are tailored to protect against UV-A and UV-B light from UV lamps. The gloves correspond to an SPF of 50 and are thus designed to minimize the risk of skin damage during nail treatments where UV lamps are used.

The fit and material of the gloves ensure that the hands remain protected without compromising dexterity and comfort. The gloves are made of a comfortable and breathable material. The UV gloves are a really nice addition for home users who want to avoid exposure to UV light.

A small zippered bag is included for storing the gloves.

Important note:
However, it is important to note that there is no general evidence that UV light is considered risky when using nail products.

To confirm this, we have further contacted the Danish Cancer Society.
Brian Køster, Senior Researcher, Cand.scient., Ph.D., states directly to us:

“In an assessment of the current evidence, there is no significant risk associated with the use of nail devices and increased skin cancer.

However, it is known that there is no lower limit for UV radiation where it is not harmful, and therefore it cannot be ruled out that in the future there may be studies that can demonstrate a slightly increased risk. However, the exposure is so limited that, combined with normal outdoor sun exposure, it will not significantly increase the overall exposure.

As previously mentioned, it is a good idea to protect the surrounding skin with specially developed finger gloves.”
