The new Soft Gel Press On Tips from The Gel Collection are the newest and lightest tips for creating nail extensions at home in your own living room - and they last 3-4 weeks!

This refill bag with Soft Gel Press On Tips contains a total of 4 x 50 pcs. tips. That is a total of 200 pcs. distributed over 4 different sizes. They are intended to be used as refills when you run out of the given sizes.

Unlike the classic tip system, Press On Tips cover the entire nail. Therefore, there is no need to build up the nail with either Gel or AcrylicGel afterwards.

The tips from The Gel Collection are made of soak off gel. Therefore, you have real gel on your nails, while they are easy to dissolve in acetone if they need to be removed. If you prefer to do a refill every 3-4 weeks, they are also perfect for this. This way, you avoid wearing down the natural nails during removal.

Further explanation: There are 12 sizes of tips in the large boxes available on the website. The sizes in the box describe the width of your nails, where 0 is the widest and 11 is the narrowest. Refill packs contain sizes 0-3, 4-7, and 8-11. The first time you use the tips, you need to use the large box, and afterwards, you can refill with the sizes you run out of with the refill packs.

How to apply Gel Tips – step by step

Gel Tips are pre-shaped extensions cured in place with Tip Gel – salon length in one evening.

1. Find the right tip size – the edges should line up with your natural nail. File the sides and cuticle area if needed, and note the sizes.
2. File the inside, and clean – roughen the area that sits on the nail, and clean with cleaner (some tips come pre-roughened).
3. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
4. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
5. Apply and fix the tips with Tip Gel (UV-curing) – a small bead of Tip Gel in the centre of the tip – it cures in the UV lamp – press it on at a slight angle from the cuticle outwards so no air gets trapped. Cure with the mini lamp, then fully cure in the large lamp.This product is used in step 5
6. File the tip (if needed) – and roughen the surface, clean with cleaner.
7. Gel Polish colour – two thin coats, cure between coats.
8. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure.
9. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
