The discs are easily attached to our Sanding Disc Mandrel Bit and can be replaced in seconds – so you always work with fresh, sharp discs.

How to use Premium Sanding Discs – step by step

Sanding discs are flat filing discs for shortening and shaping gel nails. Note: not suitable for natural nails or nails with gel polish only – and they require a Sanding Disc Mandrel Bit.

1. Mount – press the disc all the way onto your Sanding Disc Mandrel Bit so it sits firmly.
2. Choose the grit – grit 180 is ideal for shortening (especially Liquid Builder Gel, Builder Gel and PolyGel); grit 240 gives finer, more controlled filing (perfect for Rubber Base and Gel Tips).
3. Shorten and shape – the flat surface gives an even filing and a uniform result.
4. Swap in seconds – so you always work with fresh, sharp discs.
