The Gel Collection™ Cuticle Remover

Cuticle Remover softens the cuticles and allows for the removal of even the most stubborn cuticle with gentle pushes. This is essential because the cuticle lies as a thin membrane between the product and the nail if it is not removed. In such cases, the product will not adhere properly to the nail, and there will be a high risk of lifting within a short time. Cuticle Remover can thus ensure a longer durability of your products – completely without lifting at the cuticle.

Application
Apply to the cuticles and let it work for about 30 seconds. Push the softened cuticles back and then wash thoroughly with warm water. Allow hands and nails to dry completely before continuing your prep.

Important
If you have a dry nail type, be careful not to use Cuticle Remover less than 2-3 hours before your nail treatment. The reason is that the dry nail type will absorb the Cuticle Remover and expand. If a nail product is then applied and the nail slowly begins to dry, the nail will contract again and become smaller. This will cause the overlying product to detach from the nail. How to do a perfect prep – step by step

Prep is preparing your natural nail – it is always the first step, whether you are applying Gel Polish, strengthening or extending. A good prep is the foundation that makes everything last.

1. File length and shape – with a 220/240-grit file.
2. Remove cuticles – push back, and trim excess cuticle if needed.
3. Roughen the surface – buff lightly with a 100-grit buffer, well into the sides. Do not file off the nail layers.
4. Clean and prime – clean with cleaner on a lint-free wipe until the nail is matt and dry. Then apply a thin layer of primer and let it air-dry for 60 sec. Do not touch the nail afterwards.This product is used in step 4
5. Continue with your product – base coat, Gel Polish or reinforcement.
