Our learning universe revolves around The Gel Collection, a range of nail products free from 21 types of harmful chemicals, without compromising on quality and durability. Learn more about the 21FREE concept here. This means all our products are 100% free from hema, di-hema, mehq, parabens, formaldehyde, toluene, sulfates, and many other harmful and unwanted ingredients. Additionally, all products are gentle on the nails, as everything from Gel Polish to Builder Gel and Polygel can be removed with Fast Acetone Remover. Finally, minerals have been added to provide extra strength and durability. With the new products from The Gel Collection, we are leading the market by being the first to offer a formula of this caliber. We dare say it is the best alternative on the market for those looking to avoid as many harmful chemicals as possible while keeping their natural nails healthy and strong.
Before You Begin
Before you start your nail treatment, there are a few key steps you should follow to tailor the process specifically to you. These steps are important for ensuring optimal durability and a nail treatment that doesn’t harm you.
1. Master the basics
- Find the step-by-step guides relevant to your chosen products and read through them.
- Watch the accompanying video guides at The Gel Collection. The videos visually walk through each step of your nail treatment and are a great complement to the written instructions. You can also watch them while doing your nails for better guidance.
2. Prepare your nail tools
- Gather all the nail tools you will need.
- Set up your tools so that they are easily accessible during your treatment. Sit in a well-lit area where you can comfortably use both hands. Have your coffee or TV show ready so you won’t need to interrupt the treatment.
- Ensure all tools are clean and disinfected. See page 20 in the theory book or our online learning universe here.
3. Examine your nails
- Identify your nail type. See page 5 in the theory book.
- Identify your nail shape and growth direction if you plan to extend or strengthen your nails. See page 12 in the theory book.
- Check for any nail damage or conditions. See page 26 in the theory book.
